The origins

The origins of the company date back to 1800, with the purchase of land in the municipality of Valdobbiadene, specifically in the Cartizze: land of the Counts Onigo, Pola, Battaia.

1800

The wood

Zaccaria, known as Berto, continued to work his land with passion and dedication with only two oxen, beginning to make Cartizze wine on a few wooden barrels in 1940.

1900

Growth

At the end of the 1960s, Pierina’s husband-in-law Guido joined the company, and after only a few years he decided to expand the business by buying more vineyards in the Cartizze area and later more D.O.C.G. vineyards in the town of Valdobbiadene.

1960

Innovations

In 1970 Guido expanded the winery’s wine production by adopting cutting-edge techniques for those years. In 1982, when he was only thirteen years old, son Roberto began to join his father in the business, sharing the same passion for winemaking. In 2000, Roberto launched the winery’s first bottles of sparkling prosecco on the market, while also managing to increase production of the traditional “vin col fondo” wine from which the winery originated.

1980

Today

Over the years, purchases of new vineyards have continued, and after two expansions of the winery, the first in 2012 and the second in 2017, the Agostinetto family decided to build a tasting room in 2018 that boasts breathtaking views of the Cartizze vineyards. In this room you can taste our wines in the company of our warm family.
